Be careful when contract expires
We were very happy with service and price during the duration of our 1 yr. contract. However, when I called to renew, they quoted a price 49% higher than I'm now paying! They still are offering the lower price for your first year. So, be careful the year 1 price is come-on to get you in the door. Be careful from Silver Spring MD

A Great Experience

I was looking at several listings till I found Tomorrow Energy. It was an easy path to changing from my former company to Tomorrow Energy. A great choice for price and ordering.

SCAM

They advertise the product as if it's better but it's the most expensive... I went from paying $130 max to paying a $450 gas bill. My eletric bill went from $75 to $200. The usage remained the same but the charges by Tomorrow Energy were more than excessive. BIG SCAM

Complete scam

Scam from the start. A guy showed up wearing a yellow jacket and a semi-legit looking name card and offer3eed a low price. Fine, fine, I'l try it then it got shady. He called thhem, his hiigher usp who called me back - he'd asked for my phone number , and they asked a few questions which he nodded or shook is head signalling the desired response. Should have kick3edc him out then. They even asked me if he was there and if he had left. He said to tel him he had left but by then I was all ready roped in and my bills trippled. I think it was all just so shady I juust refused to believe how shady it was. I finally got out of the ness. Not to tel you how much it cost me.

Tommorow endegy is a scam.

What do customers think about Tomorrow Energy?

That depends on who you ask. There will always be someone who feels wronged by a company, no matter how good they actually are. The average Tomorrow Energy customer review is 2.6 / 5 stars. Keep in mind, consumers will go out of their way to complain far more often than they will to give praise.

Why is my electricity rate higher than when I signed up?

The rate you see when you sign up is the average rate at that exact amount of usage in one billing cycle. Some companies try to game the system by applying bill credits between certain usage thresholds. It works great if you are within the margins, but as soon as you leave that band you no longer get that bill credit and your rate per kWh can double. The PUC only requires that companies disclose their average rates at 500, 1000, and 2000 kWhs. Companies can get around this by giving you a $50 bill credit if you use between 1000 and 2000 kWhs per billing cycle. The only way to really know what you're getting into is to read your EFL. A 10¢ rate at all usage amounts may end up being cheaper than that 8¢ rate at 1,000 kWh!
